In tribute to 1st Sergeant Harold Leroy Jordan —1st. Sergeant Harold Leroy Jordan of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was a ‘Rambo’ in real life.

*All proceeds to be donated to Harold's favourite charity: The Lancaster Day Care Center also known as Lancaster Early Education Center.

He proudly served in the United States Army for 23 years, with his career including assignments with the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers, Rangers, and Special Forces. His service featured deployments to Korea, Germany, the Dominican Republic, and three tours in Vietnam where he served as both a Platoon Leader and First Sergeant. He retired from Fort Benning, GA, after being one of the senior instructors at the Airborne School. His service earned him The Silver Star for Gallantry, 3 Bronze Stars with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Assault Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Korean Service Medal, Korean Presidential Citation, National Defense Medal, Master Parachutist, and Combat Infantry Badge with a Star.

Harold then worked as a Lancaster County Sheriff and was the founder and executive director of Manos House. He was a proud Mason. He enjoyed watching Westerns, traveling, and jazz music and he was a true friend.

*There are no words that can be put together in describing Harold L. Jordan. He truly was one of a kind and larger than life. I know because I am one of his MANOS children. When I was in trouble Harold rescued me and took me under his wing. He instilled a set of values in me that carries with me to this day. For that I am eternally grateful to him and will never lose the memory of his kindness and spirit. My most fond memory will forever be the last moments we spent together, one on one sharing his expensive scotch with me at his home. He told me stories, gave me advice and made me laugh. From the very first day I met him he became a huge part of my life. He encouraged me and always checked up on me, never judging me. My respect and admiration for Harold will remain always in my heart. Thanks HJ for everything!
