New single explores the ancient legend of Puma Punku's H-Blocks, releasing September 22 via AirOneDigital — September 2026 — Universal Mic, the boundary-defying artist behind the expanding DJ Syntax sonic universe, announces the release of Above La Paz — a haunting, rhythm-driven Latin House track that takes listeners deep into one of archaeology's most enduring mysteries: the legendary H-Blocks of Puma Punku.
Set against the backdrop of Bolivia's ancient ruins, Above La Paz gives voice to the people of La Paz — a city that has lived in the shadow of Puma Punku's impossible architecture for generations. The song channels their whispered legend: that the massive, precisely engineered H-Blocks appeared in a single night, constructed by hands — or forces — unknown.
"Below the temples of Puma Punku where the 'H'-Blocks sit / There's the city of La Paz just South East of it."
With lyrics shifting seamlessly between English and Spanish — "De quienes son las cabezas" — the track mirrors the bilingual reality of a culture carrying a fifteen-hundred-year-old secret. The Sun Gate. The H-Blocks. The mystery that no mainstream history has fully explained.
"The people speak of a mystery for all to know / The Sun Gate and the 'H'-Blocks where mystery winds blow."
Produced on Suno and written by Universal Mic, Above La Paz is both a Latin House floor-mover and a cinematic meditation on ancient wonder — music that makes you move your body while it moves your mind.
"Above La Paz" releases September 22, 2026 via AirOneDigital and will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and 20+ streaming platforms worldwide.
